Briana is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about helping children build their communication skills in order to more fully express themselves, strengthen their connections with others, and reach their full potential. She strives to create an environment in her therapy sessions that is safe, functional, engaging, and fun.
Briana received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Portland State University (PSU). After completing her post-baccalaureate work in Speech and Hearing Sciences at PSU in 2012, she went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of New Mexico in 2015.
Briana has worked in a variety of settings, helping people of all ages overcome challenges related to communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders. Her work with children includes experience with receptive/expressive language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, autism, social pragmatics, stuttering, apraxia of speech, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
In her free time, Briana enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children in nature, running, practicing yoga, cooking, gardening, watching movies, and listening to music.
