Jamie is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant whose love for children who are differently abled including one of her own children helped launch her career path into Occupational Therapy.  Jamie’s passion is working with children within her community with disabilities, along with advocating for DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) within the community.

Jamie received an Associates of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy at Linn Benton Community College, Albany Or.

Jamie loves engaging children and families in therapy by using a fun, educational and play-based approach along with encouraging and helping each child gain independence. In her education and experience, she has worked with children in early childhood education as a preschool teacher.

When she’s not working with children, Jamie enjoys volunteering within her community such as Sunday school inclusive teacher, her children’s school board member, Occupational Therapy Association of Oregon’s DEI co-chair, and local Gleaners program along with spending time with family and enjoying what life brings her way with gratitude and a smile on her face.
