Kelly is a certified Occupational Therapist who has been an OT since 2015. Kelly’s clinical specialty and passion is working with children and families with physical disabilities. She loves problem-solving and working as a team with each family to achieve the highest level of independence for their child.
Kelly received a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Master of Occupational Therapy at Dominican University of California. In the last 8 years as an Occupational Therapist, she has had the opportunity to help build both outpatient and inpatient Occupational Therapy programs. As the Albany clinic manager, Kelly loves having the opportunity to serve all the families of the clinic and collaborate with the CP team to best serve our Albany community.
Kelly loves play-based and child-led therapy, and she strongly believes in meeting the child right where they are at each therapy session. She has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, skilled nursing, school-based therapy, outpatient pediatrics, hand therapy, home-based pediatric therapy, and special care nursery settings. Kelly has training in the Get Permission feeding program, Sensory Integration Disorders, and Handwriting Without Tears programs.
When she’s not working with children, Kelly loves spending time with her husband and daughter on their property in the country side. Kelly also enjoys working out and indulging in her ever-present sweet tooth!
